These terms and conditions apply to all registrants of events organised by the New Swing Generation e.V. (NSG). By registering to a NSG event, you agree to these terms.
The organisation reserves the right to make changes to the schedule and/or line-up of the festival if necessary.
As flights can be cancelled, or can be delayed, teachers can miss their flight. Also a teacher might get ill. So we cannot guarantee that all announced teachers will be present. This means that your class schedule might be changed, or you will have different teachers than announced.
The organisation is not responsible for weather related damage or for transportation strikes, for force majeure or other circumstances problems not caused by the organizers of the Shag Ahoi!

Please do check it regularly in case we had to make some changes.
The organisation do not take any responsibility for the participants’ valuables or physical injuries. There is however a risk of physical injuries during dancing. It is the participants’ responsibility and decision to dance and to do, or not do certain dance moves during the event. Please be careful at all times, for yourself and also for others. After all it’s social dancing!
Registration and Admission Policies
Read through the Level descriptions and then please consult your conscience before choosing your ability level. We reserve the right to adjust your choice of level if necessary at the workshop by the audition. We also reserve the right to adjust your choice of level if necessary at the workshop in case there is no audition. Participants have to accept the decisions of the teachers and organizers during the event and especially during the classes.
Bookings are made valid only upon arrival of payment.You have to make your payment within fours days of the confirmation of your registration.
Please understand that we can only permit you to attend the workshop after receipt of the full participation fee.
If you are prevented from attending please cancel as early as possible! The refundable amount depends on the date of cancellation:
Until 6 weeks before the first day of the event, the refund is 100%.
Until 4 weeks before the first day of the event, the refund is 70%.
Please be aware that we cannot refund the fee if you cancel less than 4 weeks before the event start date. But we’ll gladly accept if you find someone who is willing to take your place.

If possible, please transfer the money by using the common banking account. PayPal is only intended for participants from non-EU countries, who would have to pay very high banking fees.
